A&K gauge rods are designed to hold the track in gauge by preventing spreading and tilting of rails. Gauge rods are recommended at weak points in track, sharp curves, switches, bad ties, temporary track, etc. The malleable jaws are manufactured of a highly corrosive resistant material for long life. Lock nuts are supplied only when specified.
